How i-3dprint helped The Xtra Hand in the Den
I created a cost-effective injection moulded and over-moulded engineering solution for Alan’s innovative creation before entering the Den.
This vacuum cleaner attachment employs suction power to affix the device to the wall.
I developed the design using SolidWorks’ advanced 3D CAD modeling tools and produced 3D-printed prototypes to validate its functionality. The rubber skirt was overmolded onto the component using a custom 3D-printed mold tool
Alan sought and was offered a £40k investment from the Dragons, offering a 10% stake in his business in return.
